As a local business owner, I understand how important it is to have leaders who genuinely care about the people who make up the backbone of our community—our working-class families. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Dylan Quarles for the city council. Dylan has consistently shown a deep commitment to supporting local workers, small businesses, and the families who keep our neighborhoods strong. Our town is growing, and as things change, it's important we don’t lose the elements that make this town fun, exciting, and weird. We don’t want to leave behind the families who help fill our schools, and the working class that have made this community special for the last 100 years. I’ve seen firsthand how thoughtful, loyal, and hardworking Dylan is. He can speak truthfully about our shortcomings, even when it’s uncomfortable. He and his family love this community. Port Townsend needs leadership that understands our challenges and is ready to work for real, lasting solutions. I believe Dylan is that kind of leader.
